On 15, 16 and 17 February 2010 we are organising The Office InterActors international conference and Integrated Training in Iasi, Romania.
This international event will be delivered using the Blended Learning approach, with online activities embedded in the agenda before, during and after the face-to-face component.
The online activities before the actual three-day conference will include exploring the Office InterActors online learning platform, downloading and reading relevant materials, participating in moderated forum and chat discussions on relevant topics, creating and uploading presentations of own work, context and target groups, participating in a survey on individual expectations and learning objectives.
The face-to-face activities will include interactive presentations, workshops with hands-on activities and role-play simulations, testimonials from beneficiaries of the pilot round, poster presentations and gallery tours, round-up discussions, reflection and evaluation opportunities.
After the face to face component, the online activities will focus on further (self-/peer-) assessment and evaluation, identifying and exploiting opportunities to transfer and valorise the Office InterActors model to the participants’ work contexts and target groups, setting up a second round of Office InterAct courses with a wider participation of end-beneficiaries from more countries if possible.
By the end of these five days worth of face-to-face and online activities, the participants should not only be intimately familiar with the Office InterActors model, but they should also be able to transfer and integrate it into their work in various collaborative forms.
The tentative agenda of the three days follows this general structure:
Day 1: Perspectives on online education and vocational education, introduction to Office InterActors model and experience
Day 2: Hands-on simulation of an Office InterActors course
Day 3: lessons learned – reflection, discussion, brainstorming on transferring the model to own contexts, management and marketing issues of valorisation.
