Evaluation is intended to support implementation of the Office InterActors project and the provision of high quality products. External and internal evaluators contribute to the management, quality assurance, communication, efficiency and effectiveness of the processes and outputs by objectively scrutinising, and contributing via separate processes of:

a) Formative internal evaluation, acting as a critical friend, analysing the processes and feeding back in a timely manner to allow adjustments to the programme.

b) From an external perspective with a focus on outputs, outcomes, targets and milestones at various points within and at the end of the project in order to feedback in a timely manner

Throughout the project a series of evaluation activities will allow the partnership to reflect on activities, adjust processes, monitor the effectiveness of the pilot programmes, and receive feedback in a timely manner so that adjustments can be made.

Evaluation of the training programme involves a broad range of methodologies including questionnaires to tutors, students, managers and to other stakeholders; use of personal blogs on the Moodle platform as a diary of activities; self evaluation sheets to monitor students’ progress within the course and observation by, and discussions with the evaluators. Managers and tutors will also discuss and feedback to the partners from the process side.

We believe that the combination of imaginative bespoke evaluation methodologies tailored to each activity, produce the most effective and useful feedback.
